Series 4 of the ITV production Wild at Heart featured ten sixty minute (without adverts they last 45 minutes) episodes. It centers on the custody trial of Evan in the wake of his mothers death, the ownership of Mara by buisness woman Vanessa and the arrival of a new Vet, Alice who comes to live at Leopards Den.
Plot[]
At Leopards Den's busy animal hospital, newly-widowed Danny Trevanion is battling to keep his family and buisness affairs together after the tragic death of his wife.
The custody courts are threatening to send his stepson Evan back to his father in England, and daughter Rosie faces tough descisions over her future as a vet and her partnership with fiance Max.
Then fiesty vet Alice Collins, who has been working as a locum in South Africa,with her young daughter Charlotte in tow come to Leopards Den following a Rabies outbreak.
And Georgina joins the family, sent to take care of the irascible Du Plessis while her sister Caroline Caroline remains in the UK with her grandaughter Olivia. But Georgina is contemptuous of what she considers a 'sruffy' game reserve and is antagonistic to Du Plessis right from the start.
Following the purchase of Mara by wealthy buisness woman Vanessa, Danny discovers he has more than one suitor for his affections
